It's Stalking You!

Last month, Quinn Norton was in the country and I had the chance to meet her and chat a bit. She had this workshop which really opened my eyes to many things on the web that I had noooo idea were there. I'm going to take Facebook as an example and show you people what you did not know it has. Not to mention the fact that any random person on there can stalk you down. IT is stalking you. LITERALLY.

CONNECTIONS:
The people who have liked your Page or Place, RSVPed to your event, installed your app or checked in to your advertised place within 24 hours of viewing or clicking on an ad or Sponsored Story.

IP ADDRESSES:
A list of addresses where you’ve logged into your Facebook account (won’t include all IP addresses as they are deleted according to a retention schedule). 

LINKED ACCOUNTS:
A list of the accounts you've linked to your Facebook account.

PHONE NUMBERS:
Mobile phone numbers you’ve added to your account, including verified mobile numbers you've added for security purposes.

SEARCHES:
Searches you’ve made on Facebook.

TAG SUGGESTIONS:
A unique number based on a comparison of the photos you're tagged in. We use this template to help your friends tag you in the photos they upload. IT RECOGNIZES YOUR FACE! See how

Creepy much?
You might not find it so, but think about it! Any government can dig out your information in case they needed to. You're making it easier for them. There's a lot more to what I mentioned. This is just the tip of the ice-berg.
